Unfortunately this site was not around when other competitions were fished, here’s a brief catch-up.

The Senior competition for The Dr. Chesters Trophy, fished each year on the 1st Sunday in July was won by Brian Conway with the largest fish of the day.

The Junior Competition for the Wear Valley Shield was postponed from the 2nd Sunday in May because of the river conditions.

Fished a few weeks later the Shield was won by Dylan Clegg who weighed in these two lovely brownies and won with the largest fish of the day.
