Congratulation go to Stuart Pearsall who wins this years KD Johnson Memorial Trophy. Stuart took the prize with a bag of 6lb 8oz. and is seen here receiving the trophy from Eric Johnson.
Our thanks go to the excellent Tunstall Fishery for welcoming W&DAC for the second year and providing an outstanding days fishing. Every rod caught fit and feisty fish on the day, including a number of lovely Brownies all of which were safely returned.
Stuart picked up the Trophy and a very nice bottle of Glenmorangie Single Malt Whisky to polish the day off nicely.
It’s Tunstall Reservoir as the destination for our KD Johnson Memorial Trophy THIS Sunday.
Reports are that the water is low and it is possible to fish the full banks at present, but if you prefer there are 2 boats reserved for us.
And once again we have a bonus prize for the winner with a bottle of Glenmorangie Single Malt Whisky which has been kindly donated.
See you on Sunday.
If you are looking to take part in the competition on Sunday August 19th at Tunstall Reservoir please be sure to register your interest with the secretary. Likewise a small number of boats have been provisionally reserved(first come first served) but we really need to confirm these with the fishery so please let us know early.
