Tidying up the river bank.

A party of hardy volunteers was out last weekend tidying up some footpaths and planting trees which have been donated. It is pretty much unseen work but lots of small contribution’s add up quietly to help our members enjoy their fishing.

It would be brilliant if more people were able to join us, we could achieve so much more. So next time you are on the river bank and think “they should do something about that” please stop and think, “who are they?” and what can you do to help.

Trout Season off to a … wet start.

We’d love to hear from you if you have enjoyed any time fishing this week.

Sure enough the Trout season arrived with wind , rain and snow with the river running very high and coloured, but it may be that in quieter spells you enjoyed a little sport.

Lets hope the river settles quickly and trout come out to feed.

Please be sure to share your successes.
