Reminder: Guest Tickets

We have this season introduced Guest Tickets on a trial basis.

The aim is to add a little extra value to your membership by allowing each member two guest tickets per season and so allowing the opportunity to take a friend fishing on our waters. The great opportunity is to introduce someone new to the great world of Game Fishing, maybe learn to cast a fly for the 1st time, but the opportunity is also there to treat a friend to a day’s fishing as your guest.

We imagine that some of these visitors may join the club in due course but it will give everyone the chance to treat a friend or two.

We will review the scheme at the end of the season and all being well at the AGM we will look at continuing in the future.

For full details of how to use the scheme please go to the membership page,

Salmon Run

We are now receiving reports of Salmon catches.

The recent lift in the river level has brought fish through, by all accounts in large numbers. As you might expect fish have been waiting for this fresh water and have made the most of conditions.

We’ve had a very quiet summer while the water has been so low though those who did fish for Trout have reported some excellent fish.

What better time than the present to take a gust to the water.
