BLack Spot identifies our Triploid Trout

It may look very pretty, early summer in full flower but it is damaging the river bank year on year.

Before

During the 2016 season the club arranged a survey of our waters at Willington by Gareth Pedley of the Wild Trout Trust.

The purpose was to seek advice on the future management of our waters in light of the changes to stocking regulations ( Triploid fish) and the promotion of wild Brown Trout.

The full survey is provided here. Members are invited to view the survey and pass their comments back to the club about how they would like to see the club progress. At this point no recommendations are being made by the committee.
