Circumstances beyond our control caused the Dr Chesters Senior Trophy ( sponsored by Anglers Lodge at Jubilee Lakes) to be fished one week late. However we still enjoyed an improved turn out on previous years. We apologise to any angler who intended to fish but was unable to make the re-arranged event.

A fish of 1lb 4oz was declared quite early which allowed anglers to release fish which would not have reached this target. Notable fish caught included Andy Hopper had two fish which both weighed in 1lb 2 oz ,John Race also had two fish one at 1lb 2oz and one at 1lb 3oz . Ronnie Featherstone and Paul Myers both weighted in fish at 1lb 4 oz

Brian Conway had fish but they were all released as he guesstimated that they were smaller than Paul’s fish. Ken Dixon also had trout which were released this was topped off with a sea trout estimated weight around 3lb.
This left us with no clear winner and a it was agreed that the event be tied between Ronnie Featherstone and Paul Myers.

A good turn out and enjoyed by everyone.
