The upstream fish count figures for April have been published, the link on the right of this page will take you to the EA site.

13 fish are shown to have passed through the fish counter at Framwellgate. We do not know how changes to the river layout at the new hydro station will have affected the fishes’ route, perhaps there are fish passing which are not included in the published figures.

The recent rains and lift in river levels could well see early season fish making their way upstream, please contact the club if you have any news to share, and if you’re out there trying to take advantage of the May runs let us know how you get on.
