The club is now looking at habitat improvement and protecting our waters. One threat to our river banks and to the river itself is Himalayan Balsam.
You cannot avoid this plant in many areas. Himalayan Balasam is a nuisance to any angler making way to or from the water, it can look very picturesque but are you aware of the damage it can cause.
We are now considering what action is available to the club to reduce the amount of plants on the river-side and to reduce the spread. More information is given in the section About W&DAC, please take a look and consider how you can help.
